We will accept returns or exchanges of unwashed, unworn or defective Gap merchandise at any Canada store location within 30 days of original purchase date, subject to certain limitations as described below. Returns will not be accepted after 30 days.
Valid identification must be presented at the time of transaction for all returns without an original receipt or to receive an in-store merchandise certificate and/or a merchandise certificate by mail. A Giftcard cannot be provided in lieu of a merchandise certificate. All receipts must be authenticated to process the return. All returns, exchanges, and price adjustments must be made in the country of original purchase.
Customers will receive original form of payment for price paid.

Gap stores have a limited ability to look up your original transaction if the form of payment was by credit card, debit card or gift card. If the transaction can be located and validated, your return will be treated as an original receipt transaction.
We offer a one-time price adjustment when an original sales receipt is presented within 7 days of the date of purchase.
All merchandise with a price point ending in $0.97 is considered FINAL SALE. This merchandise is not returnable.
All swimwear returns must have the original price tags and hygienic liner intact.
babyGap merchandise including babyGap home accompanied by a Gift Receipt may be returned or exchanged within 60 days. babyGap merchandise not accompanied by a Gift Receipt must be returned or exchanged within 30 days.
