gap.com/i wore these pants in europe for one day and within the first hour there was a gaping hole in the inside seam, by the second hour both side of the pants had holes in them. i took pictures to document this and threw them away as i was backpacking and they were no longer wearable. upon returning to the USA i called Gap try and get a credit back and they would not. they offered me a 10 dollar credit to my account and would not even look at the pictures of the VERY CLEAR quality issue i experienced. Terrible experience. this makes me never want to buy from Gap again

gap.com/I feel compelled to write this review because I am extremely disappointed in the quality of Gap's recent clothing. I spent approximately $300 on several items that have now been worn and washed, so unfortunately I can't return them. I purchased these linen pants expecting them to be the same quality as the pair I bought about three years ago, but I was wrong. I ordered the same style in multiple colors, all in a Medium Petite. When they arrived, every pair fit differently despite being labeled the exact same size. That should have been my sign to return them. Instead, I kept them and washed them according to the care instructions. I did not put them in the dryer, yet every pair still shrank after the first wash. Between the inconsistent sizing, the shrinking, and the noticeable drop in quality, these pants are nothing like the ones I purchased years ago. I expected much better from Gap, especially for the price.

I dried them a little bit and then hung them and didn't even need to iron them. I went a size down because I didn't want them too baggy and they were perfect. At 5'5" the length is perfect.
