The Modern Tank was my favorite tank top. I bought it in every color available and wore it all the time - as pajamas, as a base layer, and occasionally as a stand-alone. The new version is less soft. The seams are less nice. It feels generally cheaper and lower quality. I'll return it and start looking for a new go-to. Sad. 

The Modern tank used to be my go to in multiple colours. I was disappointed to receive this top and find the quality has gone downhill, the fit is no longer flattering and the tank is super long. Please bring back the old version!

Low scoop and snug fit

The tanks were always a closet staple. I still have my cords from the 1980's! Gap used to be a quality store but now it's fast fashion. Worse than that because these tanks look so cheap compared to my last ones from 2 years ago. The straps are thin and the sewing is so bad with hanging threads, the straps buckle over the shoulder. The material is thin. I was always a tall/small and now they're 2 inches shorter and very tight. Sending back and have to find a new store for quality tanks.

This tank is TTS. I ordered a medium and the fit is fitted but not too tight. It's not a smooth feel tank and has tiny ribbed feature. For reference, I am 36C and 150lbs. #sweepstakes

Love the material & style of the "Modern" shirts at Gap, but tend to go for the "Cropped" fits as I have a shorter torso. Bought this when the cropped version of this tank was out of stock & think that would've been the better option for me! Realistically think this is a great tank if you like your shirt length to hit below a waistband or tucked into pants, just a much longer length than my preferred style/fit. This material does not shrink at all in the wash & if you find your happy sizing, these shirts truly are great. I wear a M reg or tall in this shirts' cropped, long-sleeve version as I have broader shoulders, but purchased the S in this tank as I was worried about the length on the M. The S fits my chest/arms perfectly, but still too long for me. Think if I had gone with a Med, Petite instead of a Sm, Reg, I have have been happier

I stock up on these every year this year I downsized to the XXS but I prefer the length with the XS 5'3 100 pounds

I own a few from 2025 version. Perfect structure and fit around the neck, shoulder and arm. Good length and material. This 2026 version, everything is wrong, the straps are narrower, large armpit hole, neckline is too low, materiel is much thinner. I am so sad. I came back wanted to get more of last years's tank but had to return them all. Please bring back older version.
