I've been buying these T-shirts for over a decade now, and they always change the fit slightly every year. I always take a medium, and it's actually on the loose side typically but this year it's quite a bit tighter under the arms, which makes it a little bit more uncomfortable. I always buy a size ...large for T-shirts to wear around the house so I can just throw them in the washing machine and dryer and then come out soft and slightly smaller. For a T-shirt that I wanna wear out I always get the medium and have to hang dry them, which means they don't get as soft.
I purchased 3 of these t-shirts, having purchased Gap's cotton t-shirts previously. When they arrived, I was surprised to see how short they were and when I tried them on, they barely covered my stomach. I am just under 6 ft tall and buy Gap's blouses and t-shirts because they offer tall sizing. ... It was also snug in fit whereas other XL tall t-shirts I have purchased from Gap fit very well. This just didn't cut it. I had to return all 3 of them. Sooooo disappointing. The Gap is no longer offering tall sizing in their Banana Republic line. This is ill advised as I cannot think why they think average clothes fit tall women. Please rethink the styling and bring back Tall sizing in all Gap lines.

gap.com/I preferred the previous style that was longer with a narrower v neck. This falls off my shoulder and is too short even tho I bought tall. Please go back to the original style which was also very light weight in this extremely hot weather.

I bought this tee 6 months ago: soft thick cotton, nice length, and subtle vee. I decided to buy another— no consistency: thinner cotton, 2 inches longer, and much deeper vee. Back it went. Will not purchase this on-line again; it requires a trip to the brick and mortar.

gap.com/I've been a fan of these shirts for a while but they keep lowering the quality. At first they changed the neckline trim from a flat trim with incognito thread to a bulky trim with visible thread that made it look less of a quality piece last year(2025). Now I noticed that they made the neckline even lower this year (2026). Unfortunately I haven't noticed or tried on before I took the tags off. And one of the colors had the V uncentered. I will no longer be rebuying these shirts. Huge disappointment and a compete downfall of this staple piece.

gap.com/I used to buy nothing but Gap tees (v-neck) when they had little pockets on them. Now, they not only don't have the pockets but the sizing is waaaay off. I got a large (I used to buy medium and still do with other places) and it fits like small! And sort of too short as well. Sad.
