Comments about Gap × Victoria Beckham Trench Coat

I love this coat! It is oversized and if it's true to size. I bought a medium and I'm usually a medium in every day clothes. The tailoring in this collection is beautiful. 10/10 #sweepstakes

This was my number 1 item on my wishlist to get. I was ecstatic to actually get it as many of items sold out quickly. A different take on the classic trench. I was quite disappointed when it arrived. It felt amiss. The material while stiff felt very substantial. I liked that. The jacket was not lined but the color of the inside layer was a very nice touch. The fit was extremely oversized and the belt is hidden. Meaning it went through the jacket as opposed to around it. This left an opening where the belt loops sit. This is a nice touch style wise but I did not like the opening as I could see wind and other weather conditions getting through. Being that the belt is hidden it makes it difficult to cinch the jacket without closing it completely. Sadly I will return. But I love the concept.

I got the S/M size in this trench because a smaller size was not available online. I like the design features (fabric epaulets with snaps, very large front pockets), but the fabric is very stiff. I hung it up prior to trying it on to see if the wrinkles would fall out (fell out a little). I am returning it because it is huge! I am 5ft2 and it was ankle length with huge volume. My 6ft husband who is about 180 lbs was laughing at it and tried it on. It was mid calf length on him, but fit with slightly short sleeves. Need to be tall and able to pull off very oversized garments to wear this, IMO. Too many changes to take it to a tailor to make it fit. U I would have lived with crinkly fabric if it was smaller!

Sizing is inconsistent but such a well constructed piece

Sizing is so confusing, did size down to the smallest size as a size small normally (sometimes medium). But this is such a well constructed piece. The level of detail on the shoulders and cuffs is impressive. I think it's worth the investment given the tailored feel I think it achieves if you size down

Read the product description, size and fit. Oversized, yes! Ordered down a size. I really like the attention put into this trench coat. The spread collar, storm flaps.. all classic details. Clean stitching, inner lining isn't cheap. The belt hidden inside is even better! No belt holes to deal with!

I like the jacket itself; however, am extremely disappointed in how it came packaged. it was stuffed in the packaging back with no protective plastic packaging and was extremely wrinkled. For a piece that is almost $400 it should not come packaged that way. as a result, I will be returning it. It is truly disappointing as I own a few pieces of clothing from VB line and it is a completely different experience. Everything comes well packaged where I do not mind spending the money I do because to me it is worth it. This collaboration didn't make the mark in my opinion.

5'6, 115 pounds and usually order small. Ordered both xxs-xs and small / medium to try on. Kept the xxs-xs. Surprised small fit as large as it did since I tend to lean more into oversized looks

I am 5'4 and a size 6. Bought a s/m and I was swimming in this coat. The belt design feature adds to the coat volume on my frame. Great material and design, but will have to return.
