Quality different in the purple - poor

I bought this sweatsuit in the pink and the purple. The purple pilled on the first wash (joggers and sweatshirt) and looks terrible. The pink looks great but after one wash the purple looks 3 years old.

DON'T BUY the hot pink joggers or sweatshirt! I washed in cold water before my daughter wore them for the first time. She came home from school and the hot pink joggers bled hot pink all over her brand new white Nike socks and brand new white sneakers! There is hot pink everywhere and I can't get it out! GAP only issued a refund and did nothing for the new socks and sneakers it ruined! VERY disappointed!

We've only had these a few days, but these are quickly turning into my daughter's favorite pants. They're warm and cozy yet the fabric appears to be strong and durable. I can imagine purchasing these again for her as well as for me.
