I have a short child and this is perfect ankle length on her so if you have a tall kid these will not be for them. I don't know if sizing up would fix the length but then I would be worried it would be to big everywhere else. Cute style just wish it was a little longer.

The waist band has good stretch, the "barrel" curve hits at the right spot on your leg, but fit more like a baggy jean and the denim quality feels sturdy and comfortably. Would definitely recommend these!
