I am usually a size medium in tighter fitting tops and I usually go up to a large in sweaters, I went up to an xl in this because I had a feeling it wouldn't be as oversized as I wanted and I was right! I do like the xl and believe the large wouldn't have been the fit I was looking for. but be awar...e that it's fairly cropped, even in the xl it hits at about my waistband on high waisted pants (though I do have a short torso). Overall, I recommend, but can't speak to its longevity just yet!
I didn't expect the material to be so heavy, which makes it hot to wear.

I first bought the crochet pants from this set- they really didn't flatter me so I had to return them but was SO SAD because this fabric was so thick, soft, and fabulous. So I began to covet the sweater as I couldn't pass up this quality cotton fabric! I bought the sweater in black and I absolutely love it. I've already worn it several times since it arrived. I've played with wearing a mistral underneath as well as a neon sports bra type top giving a pop of color through the holes. It's so soft and I love the fit- long sleeves and slightly cropped body. It breathes making it appropriate for summer but also is warm so it can be worn through fall. I'm so glad I finally purchased this sweater and I highly recommend it

Heavier knit than expected. For reference I fluctuate between XS and S. I got a S in this allowing for potential shrinking. Sleeve were slightly long, but not sloppy looking . True to size.

This sweater seems to be of decent quality. I only wish the crochet knit would have been more open so you could appreciate the detail. I'm 5'4" and the fit of the XXS was relaxed and not too cropped.
