These are lightly elasticized in the back and side waistband, but have a flat front. A true mid-rise and the perfect inseam length of 4 inches. Short enough without being booty shorts and not dowdy long.

Love these shorts - they are very flattering. I'm between sizes 2-4: usually wear 26/27 waist in jeans. Most reviews said to size up, which I did (size 4) I do think I would've been fine with a size 2 as the 4's are a bit loose -they do stretch a bit when you wear them. For reference, I'm 5'4 about 120/125lbs

Love the color, material and even the length of these since I am short. However, the waist is too tight - the button and loop should have been closer and would have been perfect. Decided to order a size up and hoping they aren't too big.
