I upsized to XL tall. I probably should have stuck with L regular. The armholes are a big and length is long and I am 5'9". I am keeping them hoping they will shrink and if not they can be PJ tops. Nicely made and good thick fabric.
Top is short in the body, the "scoop" neckline is actually quite high and closer to a crewneck, and the hem around the bottom is sewn with NON-STRETCH THREAD, making the fit uncomfortable especially when putting it on or taking off - similar to two tanks I bought last year and returned. As this one ...will be. Very disappointing.

gap.com/This tank is very different from the Modern Tank, which I have several of. It is noticebly shorter. The tall size would be ok IF it didn't constantly ride up. It also does not stretch well and does not look like the pictures. The neck is much higher than it appears in the photos. Unfortunately I did not discover all this until wearing it and cutting the tags off at which point i cannot return it. Please GAP: do better. You know how to make tank tops.
