Nice top but wide

I normally wear a small but this top was too wide, which made the bottom of the arm hole and sides stick out weird. Definitely need a larger chest to fill this top! Otherwise, it's cropped at a nice length and the material is a thick cotton but I wouldn't call 'knit'.

I picked up the red one in store and came back for black. It is cropped, which works well for me; I have an average torso and am high-waisted. I wear both all the time for work and weekends. Would consider buying in more colors! TTS - I'm 5'4", 34C, athletic hourglass and the Small is consistently a good fit.
