Better than last years version. Smooth at the waist, fits well in my usual gap size, love it. I ordered the brown check, white, tan and blue!
I was really excited to try this skirt and stepped out of my comfort zone by ordering the red. The colour is beautiful online, but in person it looks faded, almost sun-bleached or like it's been washed too many times. Unfortunately, it wasn't what I expected, so I'll be returning it. That said, the ...petite length worked really well. At 5'4½", long skirts in petite sit much better on me, and I would definitely order petite again in the future.

gap.com/This skirt waist is true to the waist, yet that is inches high for me when i take my standard size. I sized up to slide itdown for the low-waist look i prefer. Excellent linen blend again for the second year running! I saw in person that yellow and the white skirts each have cotton lining, which gives a good drape. I like that the skirt is not gathered - a nice line without extra material on the hips = ideal for me.

gap.com/I really wanted to love this skirt and ended up ordering it in true black, flax beige, and washed red. Unfortunately, I was disappointed overall. I followed the petite size chart, which has never failed me before, but all of them were too small through the waist and hips. I would definitely recommend sizing up. The length worked fine on me, but the slit is much higher than expected, it comes up to my fingertips. For the price, I expected a better fit and more balanced design. The fabric and overall look are nice, but the inconsistent sizing and high slit make this a pass for me.
