I recently ordered a few of these and decided to order more in the same colours because I really liked them. The new one, purchased within a month or so of the other ones feels more ribbed and scratchy, not soft like the others. Will be returning it unfortunately.

I love the length and it is a true black colour. My only complaint would be that the fabric changes so much year to year - a few years ago it was more of a thicker stretchy fabric, this time thinner and rougher. This is a staple that I go to again and again and I would prefer the fabric to remain consistent.

Pros Washes well, good fabric & finish. Nice light grey colour for Summer Con - I am 5" 2" & 99 pounds; so I got Petite XS; V is much too deep.

this t-shirt is comfortable, flattering, and has a good amount of stretch. However, I did purchase a size up from my usual to ensure it wasn't too snug.

gap.com/The V is too low on these for me; if I pick up my child while wearing this shirt, it immediately pulls to expose my bra. I purchased this shirt back in 2021 in the same size (Large Tall) and those were perfection. These 2026 versions have a V that is 2.25 inches lower than the version from 2021. The body length and sleeve length are also 1 inch shorter than my older version. It's tighter in the body too, though my old ones are likely stretched out from wear. I'm not sure how the V of this current version looks so much higher on the models in the photos, but that is not how it hits on me at all! See my photos for a comparison of the 2021 version (black) to the 2026 version (navy), and for how the 2026 version fits me. The sizing is small based on the size chart. My bust is 37", waist is 31", hips are 39.5" (putting me between Med & Large on the size chart) and I have a bit of a mom pooch. The Large Tall is snug on me and at 26" long it's the shortest length I'd be comfortable wearing. I still love this fabric, which is thicker than any other nice basic tee I've found. Because of the thickness, I find it to be more smoothing and forgiving of the bumps and bulges around my midsection where my jeans waistband hits. I've found this fabric to be comfortable to wear in the hot humid summers of North Carolina. I'll be giving this shirt away (I removed the tag & wore for a day) and trying the crew neck version in a size up. Bring back the higher V-neck, please!!!!
