Poor longevity

I bought a bunch of these shirts for my partner -- they feel nice and look good, but unfortunately, they don't seem to last very long. It's been less than a month since he's had the Heather Grey shirt, and even with very normal washing and wearing, there is already a hole in the shoulder. Disappoint...

My husband is tall with an aging neck. These v-neck shirts are a nice cotton, they come in tall lengths, and work well with his neck. I wish they were in more colors (just 4 neutrals available at this time).
