I'm 5'3" and usually wear XS Petite. I also have a short torso, but the proportions on this dress were still off. The bodice is very short and the waist seam sat almost under my bust instead of at my natural waist, making it fit more like an empire waist. It seems like the shoulder-to-waist measurement is cut quite short on this style. Gap dresses used to fit me well, but lately the proportions feel hit or miss and less consistent than they used to be.
