Fits perfect and not see through

I have two teenage children, and they have a lot of events down here in Texas that we attend whether they're award ceremonies or banquets. I'm 47 but I want something that always looks chic, sophisticated, and timeless. This dress is so good! It snatches your waist, but it's not heavy or uncomfortable in doing so. The dress is so light and airy! I love it!

Love this dress! The color is so deep and rich! Very flattering fit by the gathered design. Effortless styling just put it on and go! It's simple but stylish and classy. You can dress it up with strappy sandals. Jewelry and a belt or go costal comfy with flats. It's light and airy feeling for warm spring/summer days and nights. I with it came in 20 different colors and patterns!!! Love this dress!

I love this dress! The fabric is so high quality and the feminine styling is just first rate! The tall length is what brings me back to GAP every time!

For context, I typically range from an M to L in the chest area so maybe that was the issue with this dress for me. This dress is really cute (a little disappointed that the corset is more just for show than function). I ordered a large but the top was way too big and looked weirdly wrinkly in the back but a little tight in the front. Everything else is pretty solid-- perfect midi dress, the straps come off in the back to either do a cross back or possibly a halter, the color is a jean indigo. I'll re-order in a Medium and hopefully that does the trick!

It's a great dress, nice light material, and fits pretty well. The torso was a little long for my body and it does wrinkle a bit, thus not the full 5 stars.

Fits absolutely perfectly and the colour is gorgeous! I got the blue colour in an XS and the proportions are just perfect for my body, if it was any bigger it would be too big but it hangs in just the right places and has enough room for me to eat a big meal, bloat, or gain a few pounds and it would still fit nicely. I'm more on the muscular side with a very small waist, so most dresses are too tight around the bust and super baggy around my waist, but the proportions of this are just right for me! Bonus points for the fact that the fabric isn't a hair/lint magnet, I have two dogs that shed a lot so that's always a great upside!
