The fabric is heavy, the hardware on the adjustable straps is chunky and the overall dress on top didn't work for me. It weighed down my smaller frame. I really liked the shape of the skirt. I just wish the dress had been made of a lighter denim fabric. I purchased the dark denim. I would have liked to try the light blue denim, in hopes it was made of lighter fabric but it was out in my size. It would have been much better as a spring dress. #sweepstakes

This dress is IT. Nice weight dark denim with a very flattering bodice and long, full skirt. It looks and feels high end and it's super comfortable. Will be great with flats, sneaks, heeled sandals, boots…I'm 5'2 and the petite length hits me just above my ankle.

Looks beautiful online tho didn't work proportionally on my 5'3" frame. The top fit, though the bottom was so voluminous it overwhelmed my frame so I returned it. It's also a heavier denim than I'd want to wear in warm weather.

The top of the dress is super cute and fits really well. The bottom of the dress is too long even in a petite and falls at an awkward length for my 5'3" frame. The material is quite heavy so might end up being too heady to wear in the summer

I tried on a lot of the denim dress offerings at Gap and liked this one and the button down maxi dress and loved the yellow version of this one. The fabric is so thick that it's not ideal for summer but the fit was good so I was going to make it work but then the metal ring connecting the strap to the body of the dress snapped open. It dawned on me that the fabric is simply too thick for the thin metal ring to hold it intact.

This dress exceeded my expectations. I bought it on a late night, insomnia-fueled bender, and I wondered the next morning if I'd paid too much for yet another jean dress. Much to my delight, this dress is pretty perfect. The stretchy jean material, adjustable straps, and the smocking in the back make the fit much more tailored than your average jean dress. My only tiny [and very fixable] issue is that it's a little longer than mid-calf on my 5'5" frame, which feels closer to maxi than midi to me. I bought this in the yellow and it's beautiful. The dress is structured well and the color is perfect for spring. The material is a good weight for spring as well. I found it TTS. Would love to see in pink or an off white/natural color.

Perfect pale yellow color and the neckline is flattering on me. I'm petite, though, I ordered an XS petite and I'm a 34A, so I'm not sure it would work for a much larger bust. The only drawback is that the denim is a bit heavy and might be hot in the summer, but this will be nice for spring before it gets too warm.
