While the sweater itself is great, unfortunately it is not washable as advertised. Even when washed on cold/delicate or hand washed, the cuffs and hem shrink, leading to an odd shape and making the fabric of the shirt hang in an unflattering way. Would not have purchased if they could only truly be ...dry cleaned!

While the sweater itself looks great, unfortunately it is not washable as advertised. I bought these sweaters in three different colours because they looked great but when I wash them (following instructions), they shrunk in a weird way. and they came out ruined. The neckline and sleeve cuffs puckered. I have bought merino wool sweaters from the Gap before and never had any issues with them. I love merino wool. Before washing the fit was great so I am so disappointed.

This is a very light-weight sweater that had an unexpected sheerness. It machine washed well and did not shrink on medium tumble dryer heat. This pairs well with the Gap 365 trousers for a great business casual ensemble.
