gap.com/I have the black shorts and just have one wash on a hand wash cycle the bottoms and top have started to fray. I have to cut all the loose fabric off. For such a pricey set you'd think the quality would be better

I was so excited for this matching set, and am typically between a L/XL with Gap. I ordered a Large and it was tiny, like it almost felt like a medium? Not even worth exchanging for an XL, as I am worried thatll fit small too.
