I don't know how I overlooked the ruched sleeves detail when I ordered this shirt (probably just looked at the first photo which doesn't really show it), but it's my favorite part of the shirt. Definitely adds an element of interest to an otherwise very basic button down. I am between a S/M, so I went with the S, but I probably could have gone down another size because it is quite large.

I love the style, but this shirt is more like a jacket that you'd throw over a t shirt. its thick and heavy. It is not like a typical Gap denim shirt.

When I purchased this, I expected it to be a heavier denim fabric but I still really like how it looks.

I got the darker wash but sized down one size and its perfect. The material is really soft and flowy (the dark wash is at least, idk about the others). Great fall staple and something more unique than a typical button down.

This is such a great throw on shirt. So soft. It is great to wear as a jacket instead of a denim jacket. Love the big baggy look. Great with wide leg pants

this material is fantastic! It is so soft and drapes really well. I wear this button or unbuttoned and it makes every outfit looks so stylish.

Product title as of 7/25/2026 states "Organic Cotton Poplin Oversized Ruched-Sleeve Shirt" while description is "100% Organic Cotton". Now, I know that if it is 100% cotton it cannot be poplin too, but for the love of GAP please, someone, proof read before posting and correct this mistake ASAP to show buyers that we can trust GAP's fabric knowledge.

This shirt is very oversized. I recommend sizing down 2 sizes for a typical oversized fit. It is bulky and stiff. It is not the typical soft oversized denim shirt I am used to. It is more structured like a shacket. I am returning it.
