I've been buying these T-shirts for over a decade now, and they always change the fit slightly every year. I always take a medium, and it's actually on the loose side typically but this year it's quite a bit tighter under the arms, which makes it a little bit more uncomfortable. I always buy a size ...large for T-shirts to wear around the house so I can just throw them in the washing machine and dryer and then come out soft and slightly smaller. For a T-shirt that I wanna wear out I always get the medium and have to hang dry them, which means they don't get as soft.
I purchased 3 of these t-shirts, having purchased Gap's cotton t-shirts previously. When they arrived, I was surprised to see how short they were and when I tried them on, they barely covered my stomach. I am just under 6 ft tall and buy Gap's blouses and t-shirts because they offer tall sizing. ... It was also snug in fit whereas other XL tall t-shirts I have purchased from Gap fit very well. This just didn't cut it. I had to return all 3 of them. Sooooo disappointing. The Gap is no longer offering tall sizing in their Banana Republic line. This is ill advised as I cannot think why they think average clothes fit tall women. Please rethink the styling and bring back Tall sizing in all Gap lines.

gap.com/They shrink terribly and I followed washing directions and it still shrunk. I have bought the same tshirts before and they did not shrink like these ones did. I would size up and allow for shrinkage. I am not buying any more, until they fix the issue. Been a customer since the early 90's but this made me mad.

I bought many of these Ts for the last couple years. The last order was Jan 2026, perfect fine as always. I ordered more in April 2026, all 6 of them have to go back! necklines are way lower (bra is showing), some have longer length but some are too short. I noticed my older ones were made in India but the new ones were made in Cambodia. Maybe that's why? Gap, please do quality check.

These T shirts have always been my favourite. They are nice and soft. The V neck version had a tendency to stretch at the neckline, but it looks like they have changed the design. Perhaps the shape will stay longer. Very comfortable!

Between December '25 and April '26 the cut of these t-shirts has changed, they are shorter in length (do not hit at the hip as described) and the former slight flare at the bottom is now straight. The previous cut/style was perfect for me but no longer. I really hope they bring back the original!

I love the shape, fit, and soft pure cotton. What I do not like about this white t-shirt is the darkness of the black logo at the back, just below the neckline. It shows through the white cotton. I don't like that, so I returned it. The logo on Old Navy white t-shirts if much less obvious - gray!
