I am 5' 7", 165 lbs, apple shape, and I found this dress to be cute and flattering. I purchased a medium tall. It is loose enough to hide my stomach, but it still has some shape and fit. My only complaint is that even in a tall it is still quite short (hits mid thigh), which has me considering returning it.
