The dress is very cute and looks cute on. The material is very "see through". unfortunately, with the design of the top, it is hard to wear a strapless bra with it.

Yes the fabric is see through however it is a nightgown and not a dress. It's absolutely beautiful, great fit and soft fabric. I will dye the material with an indigo color so I can wear it as a dress. GAP please consider making this into a dress with a cotton slip and a variety of colors.

Definitely a nightgown. It is sheer and soft and fits true to size. The front embellishments help make the top less see-through but you will see your panties unless they match your skin tone perfectly. If you want it roomy size up.

As with the other reviewers, it's a gorgeous cut but unfortunately too see through to wear in public so it is going back. I am surprised that this passed all tests at GAP to sell to customers. Maybe if it was in a color other than white. A rich brown or bright red would be lovely!
