I'm so glad I tried these on in-store - they say the pants are mid-rise but on me, they were high rise, which I prefer. Also, GAP online description did not provide the inseam length and I would have considered the petite length but in the store, the regular length was actually the perfect ankle len...gth on my petite frame. I am 5',1" for reference. This is a great pant for everything, especially work when you can be more casual. I bought the green and light pink.
I'd admired these online for quite some time before I made the purchase. The online size suggestion of 6 was totally off and I'm glad I ordered my usual size 4. The picture is not representative of how these khakis look. They do have a very high waist - much much higher than what's illustrated. ...The fit is saggy in the butt area and to the point they look frumpy. I'd only worn them once and while they wash up okay, I noticed them hanging in my closet so gave them another try yesterday. Definitely frumpy and zero joy. I have them in the washing machine at the moment so that I can donate them to a charity. I'd suggest that if you're going to buy these, to try them on in the store first.

I recently bought the downtown khakis. I am so pleased with the fit. I am usually a 2, but I sized up to a 4 to fit my waist. They adjust to fit your body over time. Please bring more in. I will buy in every colour. They are a bit roomy around the hip and thighs, but this works for movement.

The khakis are too small! Even tho Im a size 12 these still didnt fit. I cant return because I bought on clearence but I would recormmend sizing up

gap.com/They are very nice. Bought them on sale and can't return them. They run small. I am a size 4, but these are like a size 2 or 0. If they were true to size I would rate them with a 5 star. A size 8 would have been great. I don't know what is happening with bottoms in GAP but they are not the size that are in the label. I bought a dress size 4...and it fit perfect.
