I'm always an xsmall/0 and these were tight though the waist and hips. I bought a different pair of denim shorts at the same time, same size and they fit perfectly. I loved the softness of the fabric.

These are my go-to shorts from Gap. Have been buying these for many years. I wear them out and keep replacing them. The fit is great, the fabric has body while being soft. And Gap hasn't messed with the design!
