I ordered a size large but received a size small. By the time I noticed, I had already washed them so I could not return them. However, both my daughters always love Gap leggings and they always fit them well so my review is still positive and based on the size I usually get.
These are a favorite in our house, but I have found the sizing really inconsistent lately. We ordered a mix of small/medium around Christmas, and found the mediums fit well (just a little big). So when I re-ordered in March, I ordered all medium and they were HUGE (she could pull them up to her armp...its). My daughter also complains the the sparkly styles are really itchy/scratchy on her skin, so we've steered away from those styles. That said, when you get the right size/style, they last fairly well for kids leggings and look good.
