gap.com/I am not exactly short at 5'6", but these hit way longer than top of hip. Sleeves also hit in a bad spot (either shorter or longer would work better). Otherwise, love the quality and softness. Thinking about trying petite for a shorter length but worried shoulders will be too narrow, sleeves too high. They do stretch a good deal so maybe worth a try.
I have been buying the modern crew neck T-shirt for years. The last 2 I ordered are very short on fabric; thus, the sleeves are far too short. They are short cap sleeves now. Disappointed; too casual to wear with dress trousers or vests at work.

gap.com/I love the of the modern T-shirts. I have a bunch of black and a bunch of navy. The short sleeve, the long sleeve, the V-neck and the round neck, but just those two colors honestly have no idea what in the world gap is doing with the other colors. Is the person who's picking out the colors colorblind? These are the world's ugliest ugliest colors. Maybe you should put a new person in charge of the color because these are a complete joke. There's no way a person with light olive skin could wear any of these without looking fuggly.
