My new favourite shorts!

I'm 5'3" and I'm short waisted and not curvy. I have been looking for a good pair of Jean shorts for years and I have finally found them! They fit nice in the bum, they don't dig in to my waist and I love that they are loose around the waist. I want to get them in every colour!

Run small

I'm 4 months post partum so I sized up 2 sizes from my regular size and these are very small. My guess is I'll need to size up two more for them to fit even remotely close to what the image shows. If you want them loose/low like the picture, size up a couple.

Based on reviews I sized up one size, however the shorts were still too small. Needed to size up by two sizes

Disagree about the size up comments, these definitely ran at least a size bigger. I got two different washes and both fit big. They're also as thin as paper so they wrinkle easily. Not impressed

My normal size was super tight and not a relaxed fit as shown. I would size up 2 sizes for a true relaxed fit.

these were way smaller than I expected, size up probably 2 sizes if you want them to fit as pictured. seemed like good quality, just poor fit, not what I was hoping for

I disagree with the "runs small" reviews. I usually wear a 6/28 but the 4/27 was a better fit for me. The inseam description is accurate, and they're definitely midrise- not low. The "relaxed" description applies to the size of the leg openings, imo. They're comfortable and not super tight on the thighs.

The frayed hem looks cheap, it's all one length and very fluffy (instead of more threads and a real denim look that's more flattering in a jean). It makes them flare out weirdly. These shorts also seem to run a bit smaller than a lot of other Gap denim.

Wish I read the reviews on these before buying! The 4" inseam seems very very short and they definitely run small. Wish I would have sized up 1-2 sizes! The colour and quality of the denim is great but will be returning.
