Flax linen colour… pants shirt don't match

Why would they make the colour not matching pants and shirt? Bummed, a shame I cut tags off .. never thought there would be this type of issue. Also why is name Flax linen on both pant n shirt, wouldn't people assume it's a set. Ughhhh

I love these pants, they are a great fit and just long enough. (I'm 5'8") I probably would have preferred a tall, however. I do not understand why Gap does not put inseam lengths in descriptions. Banana Republic and Old Navy have no problem with this. It would certainly save on shipping and returns if I and other customers had any idea of how long pants are before ordering.

Was torn between XS&S but ending up getting the small after reading reviews. I'm 5'3 130 and the Small Petite fit perfectly!! The bottom just drapes across the top of my foot but I'm not stepping on them. The white is also not see through unless you're wearing dark/neon underwear.
