I recently ordered a few of these and decided to order more in the same colours because I really liked them. The new one, purchased within a month or so of the other ones feels more ribbed and scratchy, not soft like the others. Will be returning it unfortunately.
This top is completely see through. It is not the same material as similar shirts last year. In addition to this, it's way too long. I am 5'9 and have a long torso. This hits me mid-bum. I originally ordered the regular XS and exchanged it for a petite XS (I've never worn anything petite in my life ...

gap.com/The old version of this top was PERFECT. The fabric was a nice thickness and the sleeves and shoulders were the correct length. This version is much thinner, the v is too low, the shoulders are too small, and the sleeves are too short. If you cheap out on the quality, your loyal customers will look elsewhere.

gap.com/This used to be the perfect top. Now the v-neck is an awkward length that is too low cut to wear without a top underneath, but not low cut enough to look intentionally layered. Please bring back the old style!

gap.com/I have purchased Gap Modern Fit T's for years. I dare say nearly 10. No more. Last year they added longer sleeves and a higher neckline, but a shorter length. This year the length is still short and the t is cut two sizes too small. The material feels like Shein garbage. I will not be back.
