I've been buying these T-shirts for over a decade now, and they always change the fit slightly every year. I always take a medium, and it's actually on the loose side typically but this year it's quite a bit tighter under the arms, which makes it a little bit more uncomfortable. I always buy a size ...large for T-shirts to wear around the house so I can just throw them in the washing machine and dryer and then come out soft and slightly smaller. For a T-shirt that I wanna wear out I always get the medium and have to hang dry them, which means they don't get as soft.
I purchased 3 of these t-shirts, having purchased Gap's cotton t-shirts previously. When they arrived, I was surprised to see how short they were and when I tried them on, they barely covered my stomach. I am just under 6 ft tall and buy Gap's blouses and t-shirts because they offer tall sizing. ... It was also snug in fit whereas other XL tall t-shirts I have purchased from Gap fit very well. This just didn't cut it. I had to return all 3 of them. Sooooo disappointing. The Gap is no longer offering tall sizing in their Banana Republic line. This is ill advised as I cannot think why they think average clothes fit tall women. Please rethink the styling and bring back Tall sizing in all Gap lines.

I love the bright neon pink color and the organic cotton material of this t-shirt but the style and fit is NOT good. The short sleeves are too long and the length of this t-shirt is too short!

gap.com/As others have mentioned the fit is boxy. The feel is soft and comfortable. Don't know about post washing status yet. The colors were a bit disappointing. The cobblestone beige in the photo appears to be a pinky beige, it is not. It is more greenish and is really a khaki color. For my skin tone the pinky one would be better. The cool brown is definitely a deeper chocolate, not lighter as pictured. The light blue t is true to photo color.
