I've been buying these T-shirts for over a decade now, and they always change the fit slightly every year. I always take a medium, and it's actually on the loose side typically but this year it's quite a bit tighter under the arms, which makes it a little bit more uncomfortable. I always buy a size ...large for T-shirts to wear around the house so I can just throw them in the washing machine and dryer and then come out soft and slightly smaller. For a T-shirt that I wanna wear out I always get the medium and have to hang dry them, which means they don't get as soft.
I purchased 3 of these t-shirts, having purchased Gap's cotton t-shirts previously. When they arrived, I was surprised to see how short they were and when I tried them on, they barely covered my stomach. I am just under 6 ft tall and buy Gap's blouses and t-shirts because they offer tall sizing. ... It was also snug in fit whereas other XL tall t-shirts I have purchased from Gap fit very well. This just didn't cut it. I had to return all 3 of them. Sooooo disappointing. The Gap is no longer offering tall sizing in their Banana Republic line. This is ill advised as I cannot think why they think average clothes fit tall women. Please rethink the styling and bring back Tall sizing in all Gap lines.

The shirt shrunk so much even after washing in cold water and medium drier setting that I ended up giving it to my granddaughter.

I bought a large, tall hoping they'd be loose and long, past my hip bones. I'm 150 and 5'6" (not heavy). They are snug and short. I love the neckline, and I like the thin cotton, but they run very small and short.

gap.com/If you want basic crewneck and vneck tees that are full-length, Land's End has them! And they're 100% cotton. Made well and last. Do better GAP. These DO NOT hit at the hip in tall sizes. Not even close.

gap.com/Loved at the store. Cotton is super soft, but do not buy this shirt unless you want a cropped tee after the first wash. Fit great when purchased, but shrunk at least 3 inches from the hem after the very 1st wash despite following care instructions.

Bought this tshirt in late 2025 and again recently April 2026. They are different and I will be returning them. The fit is not as loose on the bottom and the lengths vary. Very disappointing.

gap.com/They shrink terribly and I followed washing directions and it still shrunk. I have bought the same tshirts before and they did not shrink like these ones did. I would size up and allow for shrinkage. I am not buying any more, until they fix the issue. Been a customer since the early 90's but this made me mad.
