gap.com/I wear a 8 in Gap jeans and these were way too tight. I couldn't get them over my thighs, let alone button them. They're also more of a low rise than midrise jean. I don't know if it's because they're petities (I usually buy short, but short wasn't available in my size) but the sizing is completely off.

gap.com/I have larger hips and thighs and a small waist. I'm usually size 6 pants on bottom and size 4 in tops. I've been eating heavily into high waisted pants because otherwise everything tends to be too tight on my thighs. Which I don't love. These fit perfect. They're snug on my hips and my butt, but loosen right at my mid thigh into the straight. I also have curves and this doesn't gap above my butt.

gap.com/I bought these Relaxed Straight Mid Rise jeans and upon trying them on they were so stiff I couldn't tell what they looked like on me. I took a gamble, removed the tags and washed them to see if when softened I might like them. But NO! I hate them! Way too low for mid rise. Very uncomfortable in the crotch. Enormous fit in the rear. Still SO STIFF and uncomfortable I couldn't wait to take them off.
