I read the reviews before I purchased these and did size up. I am between a 2-4 and wanted them a little looser so went with a 6. I have never required a size 6 for pants in my life. When I say this size 6 fit like a TIGHT size 4 I am not joking. I am actually considering taking them back and trying an 8. Apart from the sizing they are nice pants. The sizing is just absurd! Be prepared before you buy!

Comments about Mid Rise Barrel Utility Ankle Pants

Based on the description and the other reviews, I ordered these pants in a size 2 petite, I'm 5'3" and 125 lbs, way way too cropped! Description says model is 5'9" wearing a size 4, assuming regular, so o assumed they would be too long on me. Not the case Great pant but be wary when choosing length.

Like another reviewer I've been searching for a cute utility pant that was not jeans and was pleased to find these as good neutral color options. The pants are a good weight and fit TTS for me. I'm 5'2" and 130 lbs so the fit was good. However, I ordered the moss green in petite and the size chart said the inseam was 29" and these were cropped around 26" so I'm going to re-order in the regular size. Other than that really happy with these pants.

I ordered my regular size but it was to small. I do love the material and style. You might want think about ordering a size up if you are mid-sided.

Nice but don't fit me

They are tight in the tummy which isn't surprising since they're high rise and I do have a tummy. Once I got them zipped up they were comfortable but below the tummy they looked tight even though it was plenty loose in the crotch. Also the colour is not as dark as it looks in the photos, it's more of a medium grey green. A nice colour and the fabric is really soft but I loved the colour in the photos. That's actually why I ordered them. So they're going back.

The run small, so size up

I really like these! I did need to go up two sizes, as they do run small, but I'm really happy with the fit. I bought all three colors I like them so much. For fit, they're slightly slouchy by going up two sizes. I think one size down would have fit, but more snuggly than I would prefer. I am 5'7", and the length is just at my ankle. I'm 138lbs and I went with a size 10.

I have been tracking down pants just like this from Ralph Lauren and Citizens of Humanity. Thank goodness they have both been hard to find because it caused my search to continue. I landed upon these and they are divine! Thick cotton material, patch front pockets, back flap pockets = dream utility pants! Length is perfect for slides, sandals, and boat shoes. In winter I'll be wearing them with sneakers and hiking boots. I do feel they run a tad small for Gap. I wear size 8 and a 10 if something runs small. I ordered the black 10 bc that was all that was in stock at the time. They fit exactly on my waist although I do like a slouchier fit. I know they will stretch as 100% cotton always does. Going back for the dark green since they restocked!

Not mid-rise

I am short waisted and these fit like a high rise on me. Found the waist tight and these fit hip and thighs big. Usually wear a 10-12 in pants and got these in a 12. Waist is a bit tight. Definitely a cropped length.

Runs VERY small...

They say slim and they are. Also very short. I am 120lbs, 5'4, ordered a 4 (usual gap bigger size) and they are skin tight and cropped.
