I purchased the chamois yellow and purple eggplant. The colors are a lot more vibrant online (I included pictures). The versions I received seemed as if they had been washed several times, as they do have that faded colour look. Regardless, it is not a deal breaker because I love the fit. I purchase...d regular size medium. I am 5 feet 6 inches. I weigh exactly 140 lbs (thanks to covid), my waist is 28 inches, and my hips is 41 inches. I have a great figure, so my lower body is bigger than my upper body (pear shape, like Kim Kardashian, but mine is natural) If you are between a small and a medium with a regular behind, then the small will fit. If you are between medium and large, and do not have a heavier bottom then the medium should fit. These pants are great, the crotch is not long like some of GAP jeans these days. You can pull them up to your nabel or keep them at your waist. They are very comfortable, and the material is of the best quality. I do recommend ironing though.
These pants are very nice and would work well if you are slim and don't have hips & a bum (not curvy) For reference I'm 5'5" and about 140-143 pounds. I have a flat-ish stomach, proper hips and bum with a thin waist (hourglass). The fit and sizing is odd. I tried the medium and they were snug on m...y bum, but really baggy on the sides. The way the pockets sat made the pants (and me) look wider and was not at all flattering. Then there was a weird pouch that forms at the front. I tried pulling them up higher, but that just looked terrible. So I would say, if you have a straighter shape, these pants will probably look great on you and might actually give you some extra curves. But if you are curvy, and don't want to add width where you already have it...then pass on these ones.

gap.com/I love these joggers. I have them in green and khaki. They are such a great alternative to jeans. They're super comfortable but they're also a style that looks "put together." I'm 5'9 and would really prefer a tall, but the regular are fine in length. Please restock the grey pair and make these in more colors!
