I love these pants! I am 5'4" 185lbs and I buy the TALL XL. When you buy tall they give extra room from front to back from the waist down through the crotch to the back - just where I need it. Also, because these are cropped, they are the perfect length for a full pant for me! The instruction say to... line dry but I put them in the dryer on delicate and they shrunk about 1" inch in length which is absolutely perfect for flats or sneakers or loafers. If I wanted to wear heels I would only line dry and not shrink them. These pants also look easy for a tailor to hem if you are under 5'4", or try heavy duty iron on hem tape to DIY. The front seams just needed a quick steam press to straighten if you put them in the dryer. I will line dry from now on though because I don't know if they will shrink more… I bought these in 3 colours. I hope GAP continues to sell tall cropped flare pants, they are so flattering for petite women with tummies that look overwhelmed in wide leg pants. The fabric is heavier and stretchy. Good for fall/winter. The elastic waist is very comfortable. These are my new favourite pants. Great for work and school pickups and errands. Can be dressed up or down.
Petite only goes to large. I'm 5'6 XXL. I ordered the regular xxl. Really great fit and fabric, but at my height they are not crop. I'm keeping them as they look good but FYI if you're hoping for cropped in Xxl and are under 5"8 they will be past your ankle.

These are seriously the best pants ever. I have been living in them. They look great and the quality seems way more expensive than the price. I ordered the petite medium (I'm 5'2") and they are cropped but not too cropped. They look great with every shoe and also dressed up or down.

gap.com/I am 5'9" with long legs. I wear a lot of GAP pants and always order talls. These are supposed to be cropped, but they drag on the ground for me. I think they would be better suited to someone over 6' who is looking for a heavier knit crop pant. I will be returning them because the super long leg flares out in a strange way on me.
