Great bodycon fit and nice mid-weight knit, not flimsy like others I've seen. Color is as it appears online. The buttons are mostly fixed so no spreading open between them but you can only unbutton one or two at the top and bottom.

I am 5'6" and 140 lbs and ordered this in the taupe color in large and found it too form fitting and hugging my midsection so it didn't look great. I also ordered the CashSoft Rib jumpsuit in black and that one is a much thicker sweater material and was much more forgiving and the medium fit well in that. Maybe this dress in black would've been more forgiving. It was soft, but the rib was thin and the sweater fabric was also on the thin side compared to the jumpsuit.

I always order ON and Gap dresses and tops in Tall XL. I'm only 5'6 but a natural 36DD/E so the Tall XL fits appropriately up top. Waist 32 and hips 36. I ordered the Tall XL in black. It is stunning on. Curve hugging but not tight. A medium knit sweater dress. It looks great with Dr. Martens loafers; either the fuschia or black hair on hide leopard print. I chose the latter.

I am usually a size M but sized up to L as it is form fitting as described and the bigger size gives slightly more room. I am 5'4 with longer legs and the regular length was perfect for me. The material is thick and warm and the dress is well designed - the top and bottom few buttons can be buttoned/unbuttoned, while the buttons in the middle are faux buttons. As a result, you can control how much to unbutton the top and bottom of the dress, but since the middle buttons are faux, you avoid the dreaded gaping at the torso and hips. I haven't worn and washed it yet so can't comment on how the material will hold up, but would recommend this dress based on my initial assessment.

Cute design and fabric feels great, but ended up returning it since it didn't look quite right on me. I'm 5'4" and 115lbs and bought an XS. Felt like it was a bit big and too long. Would suggest the petite size for anyone on the fence that's around my height.

You can dress it up and down. Form fitting but not too tight.
