As other reviewers have mentioned, the neckline is now thinner and doesn't lay flat—and the fabric is higher content modal and not as nice quality as the blend they used to use. Bring back the old version please!! 🙏🏽

gap.com/This shirt is a staple! I love the basic colors and the classy boatneck style. I last purchased this shirt in 2023, and I felt the color had faded, so it was time for a new one. I was bummed to see that the neckline has changed since then. It used to be wider, with two lines of stitching, but now it's narrower and thicker, with one line of stitching, which feels and looks like lower quality. As the shirt wears, I worry that the new neckline will pucker, because of the width and thickness. Hopefully I'm wrong.

gap.com/Like many other long term Boatneck T-Shirt buyers I'm disappointed in the current fabric quality. It's thin. Gap continues to reduce the quality to meet a price point. It's sad. I've been buying this style for years because the style is very flattering on me but I'm about done with ordering. They are starting to look like stretchy polyester jersey and not cotton. I definitely wouldn't order white. The style is great Gap but please stop reducing the quality of the materials. You're ruining a great classic hard to find and flattering neckline T-shirt and btw add some more colors.
