Nice quality, sharp looking belt! I'll be able to wear it with so many things. I was unsure what size to go with as I wanted to be able to wear this belt with both high rise and mid to lower rise jeans, jumpsuits etc. I am normally around a size 4 or 27" waist in Gap jeans and the medium belt works ...perfectly for me. (The size chart recommended a small for me but that's basing the size on your actual waist measurement I assume) If you want to be able to wear this belt at a lower rise as well as high I'd recommend sizing up.
