First, I brought this in the plaid, which I love. Second, this skirt is described as a "micro mini" and not a regular mini. I'm 5'3" and wear GAP size 29 (8) or 30 (10) bottoms. To make this denim skirt work, I did went for "regular" instead of "petite" and I sized up to a 31. This meant the skirt comfortably sat lower on me and my finger tips were able to graze the bottom of the skirt. When I pulled the skirt up to high rise level, it was so short, felt like my undies were in danger of showing just standing there. These two adjustments on sizing made this skirt wearable and a normal mini length for me.

Wanted to love because the material is great and leopard print is nice but the sizing is the Wild West. Normally a 27p but sized down to 26p based on reviews and it's still exceptionally large, even worn low on the waist—I could have gone down to 25 or 24. Shame because the sizes are mostly sold out.

I'm going to have to return the the leopard and go one size down. Also, be aware: This is a micromini skirt not just a mini skirt! You don't want to try to bend over in this. Best with flats or things could get embarassing.

I ordered my usual size (30/10) but it runs quite big. I can probably go down two sizes! A bit bummed because the skirt is really cute and I was really excited to wear it, but I'll be returning and ordering a smaller size.
