Perfect lightweight jacket for my boys (13). Kind of item that has survived being rolled into a ball and shoved in a backpack or locker. Check size carefully, however, as XL is 12 and XXL is 14-16. Just a little different sizing from alternatives I compared it to.
My son wore it maybe 10 times and the zipper completely fell apart.

Great lightweight jacket for kids. Easily packable and a great layering piece for colder months. Not warm enough or waterproof to be considered a "winter coat" but great for layering in the winter and a great spring jacket.

I got this for my 13-year-old son to wear during the cold midwestern winter. It is not super thick like a coat, but I think that is what makes him like it. He can stuff it in his backpack easily at school, and it is just enough warmth to take the edge off the cold at the bus stop. I honestly never thought I'd win the coat argument, but he wears this every day without complaint. I ordered an XL and an XXL because I wasn't sure which size would be appropriate. He's 5'0 and 95lb, and the XL fits perfectly. I am keeping the XXL on hand, though, for when he outgrows it. I would highly recommend!
