I was happy to see that this sweater is 100% cotton; last year was the same style in a blend. The blend was super soft when new but after several washings became 'rougher'--I much prefer the cotton. Another reviewer commented that the sweater seems small; though I do think it fits tts the cotton k...nit allows for a good amount of stretch in both width and length. My son really likes this sweater. I wish there were more options for colour/pattern because at the current sale prices I would like to pack away a couple for next year.
I ordered a handful of these sweaters … it has been really annoying to deal with the inconsistent sizing. The black fits smaller than the navy/green striped version I received. The medium and large black I ordered were virtually the same size. The sweaters are nice and the knit is good quality— b...ut finding the right sizes in multiple colours has been a headache. I wish there was a store closer to me so that I didn't have to rely on on-line shopping.

Bought my 6 year old (who usually wears 7-8) a size 8 and it was on the smaller size. Had to return. Material is still nice but I suggest you purchase a bigger size.

It's really hard to find tween boy approved sweaters, but this one seems to be perfect. Stylish comfort that moves easily between school casual with joggers to family gatherings with khakis. A high quality piece that will as a long time. I wish it was made in more colors.
