Poor fit and quality

I've been wearing Gap jeans for years, and am usually a huge fan! Inclusive sizing, quality materials, and good fit. These jeans, however, were not that at all. The last two pairs I've attempted to buy had tons of issues: - Poor quality material: you can tell they've switched to thinner, worse cotton. - Bizarre sizing: the waist was too big, but the crotch was hiked very high up, thighs were really tight - Simply not true to the photo: this item just doesn't look like what it looks like in the pics. it fits more like a slim/straight I would recommend NOT purchasing online.

Easy to navigate through the store and clothing is always g!

Comments about Jean droit décontracté

Size and fit is totally off. I've bought the same sizing in jeans from Gap for years and these fit probably 2-3 sizes smaller than usual. Crotch is cut super high. Not relaxed straight Material and olive color were great.

I like the higher rise and longer pant leg (length). Inconsistent fit and sizing across different colors, particularly in the waist/thigh. I appreciate the 100% cotton / real jeans, though.

I love the look of these jeans but they fit like a straight fit at best, I'd compare them to Levi's 514. Pretty tight on my thighs, decent room on my calves. Would have loved it with another couple inches of thigh space but had to return because they're just not comfortable.

Flaps on the back pockets

Clearly I was not paying attention when I ordered these as I thought they were the regular Gap jean. Did not realize they had flaps on the pockets and they are tight in the waist.

Its hard to find 100% cotton jeans these days. They fit alright and have held up good. Ive bought these jeans in almost every color.

Sizing is ok, length wise maybe a little too long but it's close enough. The main complaint is the button. No idea why it's so hard to button and unbutton, up to the point where your fingers start hurting. Maybe there wasn't enough space cut out for the button? Itll probably fix once I wear it out but it's annoying

look really cool but odd fit.

i really dig the look of herring bone carpenter pants, im not a big guy at all and there is no room for your crack and junk in these pants, i literally can't pull them over my crack they are so low rise, please gap carpenter jeans should be high rise in the waste if anything, would love to see them try making these pants again.
