These are not the same as the original shorts they had a few years ago. Quality is lower, fabric is thinner. (think Gap Factory/Old Navy) That said, they're still decent. Won't expect them to have the same life for hand-me downs as the originals. Sizing & fit is very similar as original. Bought XL & XXL for my avg sized 13yo. XL fits now and XXL by summer/fall (not as big of a jump in sizing as I anticipated)

We routinely buy these shorts each season. The colours (navy or black) tend to fade a bit after a summer of washing. The draw string is great and the shorts are comfortable. I wish the length got longer as we went up in size, as the small and medium seem to be almost the same length but the waist is bigger. They tend to hit a few inches above the knee.
