I find these basics run pretty true to size, for reference I'm 5'6", 130 lb with athletic build and I ordered a small which fits perfect, with a little extra fabric on the sides. For snugger fit I could've sized one down. Matches well with jeans and just about anything. The yellow is such a beautiful pastel, mild yellow. Washed and dried on low heat and still retained its original size and shape. #sweepstakes

This top, like many RECENT Gap tops, RUNS SMALL! The sizing is also inconsistent among colors, e.g., pink is almost ok, but the red is very tight. I've worn an S in Gap tops for decades. I kept two M's only because I got them at a low price and can wear them as 'warmer' workout tops because the shirt has elastine. The material feels a bit too synthetic and cheap. I kept the blue and black because the material seems like it can better withstand pet fur (pet parents - you know what I'm talking about with dark colors and pet fur - some materials are like magnets for pet fur). The problem with going up a size in this top is that the shoulder area get s bit bubbly - especially around the seams. I am surprised because I have broad shoulders and there was even too much material for me. All in all, since I got the two shirts for a low price, I'll take the risk if they don't work out.
