These pants are like a heavyweight tshirt. They are lighter in weight than the wide leg terry sweatpants, and they are finished with a hem at the bottom. I got a petite Lg, and I'm 5'6". They are an ankle pant (which is what I prefer), and the rise is lower than what I like but I think that's probably because they're petite. (Gap-please make Petite XL!). They can be dressed up or down, but are as comfortable as lounge pants. I wish they made a shirt with sleeves in the same fabric. Love the quality of Gap clothing! These pieces are the kind that will last for years. #sweepstakes

gap.com/I am 17 w pregnant in my 3rd pregnancy and probably like 135-140 lbs 5ft 1 and I bought a small petite in brown which fits great but gets loose with wear so i have to roll them up and they sit right under my belly. I bought xs petite black and they fit better and will use them under my belly and i know these will be great for post partum. Love the cotton. Worth it when on sale. I wanted a non maternity pant that would work for both my maternity time and post partum time. Definitely casual but just find ways to style them :)
