Cotton is soft but fabric is so thick they cannot be worn under shirts, and too thick to wear in hot summer weather. I was looking for an oversized t shirt for the gym and had to go to men's to find something. This was ordered in the size I wear for women. It's good, but the bottom is not as loose as I had hoped, but it will work.
