5'1", 135 lbs Summary: would opt to size up 1 size for comfort; petite length hit mid-calf. Pretty good quality, definitely a good deal when 50% off. Tried on the Small regular (in black) in store, ordered the small petite (in red) online - not sure if it was because others had also tried on the r...egular length option or petite was a touch smaller, but i found the Small Petite to be much more skimming. Opted to exchange for a medium to be more comfortable. Also bought the matching top and it's a fun, easy-to-wear summer option I've had my eye on since last summer
I was really excited to try this skirt and stepped out of my comfort zone by ordering the red. The colour is beautiful online, but in person it looks faded, almost sun-bleached or like it's been washed too many times. Unfortunately, it wasn't what I expected, so I'll be returning it. That said, the ...petite length worked really well. At 5'4½", long skirts in petite sit much better on me, and I would definitely order petite again in the future.

Lovely light but not-too-sheer skirt. It is more of a midi length- I'm 5'8" and ordered tall to have full length (I also sized up to make it lower rise). The side slit goes up fairly high but the fabric has enough weight to keep it from being too revealing.

gap.com/Beautifully cut linen skirt. Hidden flat elastic band at waist is very comfortable. The long lean cut with a just perfect height side slit is so beautiful. The cut of the skirt flares slightly towards the bottom and so it's not a skinny, pencil skirt. I love it and bought it in 2 colors. I love that it's not lined, as the hot Texas summers make those unnecessary and unwanted. 5'2" 100lbs. XXS fits like a dream. I only just got home with the two skirts and have not yet washed these, and am hoping they will hold up well. I have not shopped at the GAP in at least 10 years and was so happy to see the new line of clothes that seem to be good quality and good design. GAP needs to keep it up...if the quality is there, customers will come back..even after 10 years.

I'm really confused by the other reviews as I found that this skirt fit me perfectly in X small, which is my normal size!! the new off-white colour is lined, but still a little see-through- can see your legs, not underwear - I'm ok with that - it's summer!
